The images here are a newly revised edition of  booklet about cancer treatment and care, aimed at people affected by the illness, by Macmillan cancer support.

This graphic style seems to be fairly popular through design, and has even been used in another serious situation (much like the posters) – using a one colour image on a single colour background.
