Building my website:

First step first, is uploading the background image. This is a screen shot of both the image uploaded and the CSS Styling applied.

Under the body tag, background sources the image from my files which is the splat. Which I have then included a no-repeat because it’s in specific position. It’s center and has a continuous colour of #F6F6F6 so that there’s no obvious distinction between the image and the rest of the background. Setting a colour rather than repeating the image helps for loading time of the webpage.
