My latest brief was a case of ‘picking’ at random a set of statistics that we then have to show through a motion graphic. The aim is to create a motion infographic, to show information in an interesting way. MP Expenses in 2008- 2009/10 is the period spanning the Expense Scandal. The Scandal was created after a demand from the public to see what it is they pay for through paying their taxes. The reuest was denied, however copies of the MP’s Expense claims leaked to the Daily Telegraph causing an uproar from the public. Stories started to appear about various MP’s abusing their second homes allowance claiming outrageous amounts of money, but for what? Top Story of all, tells us that our hard earned money was being used to pay for MP’s floating duck houses, and security patrols. Clear essentials needed when living away from home to be near Westminster!
