A Real Myst Book by Mike Ando It took six years and most certainly some form of arcane ritual for Mike Ando to create a real-life Myst book… that you can open and play! Inside the book is a fully functional desktop computer with an embedded touch screen which you can use to play all […]

Spatial Typography As my space is the AUCB Library, I took some time to go and photograph areas of the library that I thought I could possibily hide the typography. However in doing this, i was struggling to come up with any ideas of how to put physical type into the space. Instead I thought […]

Spatial Typography Looking into general typography I found this set of type created out of brightly coloured wood blocks. It was the colour that attracted my attention and the fact that without looking at the closer image, it’s hard to tell that these letters are physical rather than computer generated. It opens my mind to […]

Spatial Typography Whilst researching for various ways of creating 3D Typography, I came across this project by László Sándor. He created this typographic lamp for an exhibition, and it’s amazing. This means considering 3D Typography in the space, the lighting on the typography whether […]

I found this image online researching CMYK. It’s an abstract image involving typography, and it all blending into one composition. A great piece of work. Shame I don’t know the designer/artist.
